Requirements for prospective D/djs: Computer audio card, internet access, microphone, Winamp with Oddcast winamp plugin(or other icecast streamer), speakers, and mIRC are REQUIRED.
Here is a link to where you can download the Oddcast v3 plugin(Windows 98/NT/2000/XP)
For Mac users download and use: Nicecast with iTunes or some other form of streaming MP3 player.
The following is a list of what is recomended: headset with earphones and mirophone, high quality sound card, high quality microphone, higher than dial-up connection, alternate(retail) broadcast program(must be icecast compatible). |
